If you've been keeping up-to-date on the current trends in the video game world, then you've probably heard of, and have maybe played, PUBG. While it's a pretty new concept, the developers have released a version of the game that can be played on a mobile device. In this game, you'll be playing as a mercenary that parachutes onto an island, along with 90 other players. After landing, players will need to hunt for supplies like armor, guns, and ammo. The map starts out quite large, but shrinks down as time goes on. There will be an area on the map that's considered safe from the electric storn and those outside of the circle when it hits will start taking damage. As the game progresses, the smaller area forces players to get closer together.
If you don't find guns or ammo, you'll be stuck with just your fists. You can find these items by looting the chests that are scattered around the map. While you'll only have the option of playing on 1 map, all of the items that players can get on the PC or console versions are also available on the mobile version. You can login using guest or Facebook and you'll unlock more items as you level your character up. There are a few different modes to choose from and you can choose to play by yourself or on a team with others. It doesn't usually take too long to get put into a game and the match starts as soon as enough players have joined.
Once you sign up and get everything activated, you'll be able to start customizing your character. Not only can you choose different weapon loadouts, but you can also choose from several different clothing options. The controls are a little awkward at first, but players usually get used to them pretty quickly. After getting your character and weapon loadouts ready, you'll select which game mode you want to play. If you play solo, you'll be playing by yourself and the goal is to be the last man standing. On the other hand, playing squads will put you on a team and players will have to work together to win the match.
As you're going through the match, you'll keep coming across chests. You'll want to open as many as you can because this is how you get higher-quality items. While playing, make sure you're paying attention to the map and player count. Not only will this tell you how close the storm is, but you'll also be able to see how many players are left. When the storm circle starts closing, you'll want to get inside the circle and defend your position. The smaller the circle gets, the closer players have to be. With that being the case, the last few minutes of a match are usually the most exciting and game changing. If you get eliminated, you can either watch others play or exit to the lobby and join a new game.
After everything is said and done, it comes down to the gameplay and the graphics. If you can work through the lagging and don't have a big issue with violence, then it's something worth checking out. It's one of the most popular first person shooter games and you have great opportunities to meet people from all over the world. You can loot chests to get great items and work with a team to bring down the enemy. For a mobile game, the graphics are fantastic and has similar quality to the PC or console versions, which means you can have an equally enjoyable gaming experience.
